The Art of Writing Artificially; an exhibition in the Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication at Imperial College London.
By taking inspiration from different and significant typographical styles, I illustrated a brief history of typography, from Roman to Sans-serif. The exhibition explored the styles, methods and perceptions of the written word through the ages, in the western world.
The exhibition featured 4 quotes or statements related to the history of modern typography. And 9 individual letters to represent a timeline of typographic styles eg. Roman, Blackletter and so on.
